I'm Elijah — a photographer and filmmaker based in Denver, Colorado. I started Molten Frame Productions because I believe every person, community, and story deserves to be seen with the same care and craft that goes into the work I'm most proud of. This isn't just a business. It's a calling.
Philosophy
Why I
do this
work.
I grew up watching films that made me feel things I didn't have words for. That's the standard I hold myself to. Not technically perfect frames — though I care deeply about craft — but images and sequences that land in your chest before your brain catches up.

My work sits at the intersection of faith, community, and cinema. I'm drawn to subjects who carry weight — people building something, believing in something, enduring something. The automotive world pulls me in because cars are never just cars. They're freedom, identity, obsession. There's genuine emotion in a machine built with that kind of intention.
I don't believe in cookie-cutter deliverables. Every project I take on starts with a real conversation about what you're trying to say and who you're saying it to. The technical side follows the story — never the other way around.
Timeline
First camera
Picked up the Canon EOS 80D and started shooting. No plan, no clients, no brand — just a camera and the need to figure out what it could do. Everything started here.
Cars come first
The earliest content was automotive — getting low on cars, chasing light in parking lots, learning how machines move and how to make them feel alive on camera. It was the subject that taught me to see.
Molten Frame Productions
Named the studio and committed to it. Built the brand identity, launched the YouTube channel, and started treating this like the real thing it was becoming. The name stuck because it felt true — great work is forged, not found.
Cars & Christ begins
Started developing the cinematic short film that sits closest to what Molten Frame is really about. Automotive culture and faith don't often share a frame. This project is an argument for why they should.
First commercial clients — Fort Collins
Started shooting for local businesses in Fort Collins — The Cupboard and a growing list of restaurants and small businesses in the area. Real briefs, real deliverables, real relationships. This is where the studio became a business.
Building something real
Based in Colorado. Shooting commercial work, personal projects, and community-driven stories. One year in and already working with businesses that trust the vision. The foundation is set — now it scales.

Canon EOS 80D
The workhorse. 24.2MP APS-C sensor, Dual Pixel autofocus, and 1080p video. Reliable in any light condition and the body I reach for first on every shoot.
DJI Gimbal
Keeps every moving shot smooth and intentional. The difference between footage that looks like it was shot and footage that looks like it was filmed.
DJI Mini 3 Pro
48MP sensor, 4K/60fps video, tri-directional obstacle sensing, and under 249g. True vertical shooting for social content. Gives every project an aerial dimension without the bulk.
Glass
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
The everyday lens. Versatile focal range covering wide establishing shots through to short telephoto. Image stabilization handles handheld work cleanly.
Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM
Reach for automotive detail shots, events, and subjects at a distance. The compression at 250mm flattens backgrounds in a way that makes cars look cinematic.
Canon EF Mount
The 80D accepts Canon's full EF and EF-S ecosystem — one of the largest lens libraries ever made. Room to grow in every direction.
Audio & Post
DJI Mic 2
Wireless dual-transmitter system with a charging case. Clean audio from a distance — essential for interviews, commercial shoots, and any situation where a cable isn't practical.
DaVinci Resolve
Everything goes through Resolve — color grading, editing, and audio mixing. Industry-standard and free. The same software used on Hollywood features.
Export spec
1920×1080 · H.264 · 29.97fps · AAC stereo. Optimized for both web delivery and client archive.
